Regis Prograis wonders if Jose Ramirez fight is next!
WBC super lightweight diamond champion Regis Prograis took to all of his social media platform to ponder if he should pull out of seemingly doomed World Boxing Super Series to face WBC super lightweight world champion Jose Ramirez.
Above is the post in which Prograis asks the question and also ponders what would happen if he landed the same punches on Ramirez that his foe on Saturday night did, Jose Zepeda.
Ramirez and Prograis have been tied together as the fight seems very makable, and both fighters seem interested.
Five-time world champion Tim Bradley Jr. said afterwards that he doesn’t like Jose Ramirez’s chances against Prograis in a scrum with the boxing media.
The news comes as another seemingly blow to the WBSS super lightweight tournament which lost IBF super lightweight world champion Ivan Baranchyk earlier this month. The only remaining world champion in the tournament is Kiryl Relikh, Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis hold secondary titles, that are not world titles.
The fact that this has been made public doesn’t look good, as it looks like Jose Ramirez and Regis Prograis are on a crash course for each other.
