PROGRAIS IS BACK ! Plus fight results from around the world.

Regis Prograis beat Jose Zepeda by technical knockout in the 11th round on Saturday at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson. The fight was scheduled for 12 rounds for the WBC super lightweight championship. Outside of the first round and a couple of moments here and there Zepeda had no answers for Prograis in what turned out to be a showcase for the “Rougarou“. With this win Prograis puts himself firmly in contention for some of the bigger names in the division. Also, on the undercard Yokasta Valle beat Evelyn Nazarena Bermudez, Charles Conwell defeated Juan Carlos Abreu and Bakhodir Jalolov was victorious over Curtis Harper.

In other fight news this weekend, Dillian Whyte beat Jermaine Franklin by majority decision in their 12 round contest on Saturday at Wembley Arena in London. The scorecards were announced as 115-115, 116-112, 116-112 in favor of winner Dillian Whyte. Also, on the undercard Fabio Wardley beat Nathan Gorman for the BBBOC British Heavyweight championship and Sandy Ryan defeated Anahi Esther Sanchez.

John Ryder beat Zach Parker after Parker was unable to continue with a hand injury after 4 rounds at The o2 in London. Also, on the undercard Hamzah Sheeraz beat River Wilson Bent for the CBC Commonwealth Middleweight championship and Dennis McCann defeated Joe Ham for the CBC Commonwealth Super Bantamweight belt.

Greg Hardy beat Hasim Rahman Jr by unanimous decision in their 4 round contest last Saturday the 19th at Moody Theater in Austin. The scorecards were announced as 39-36, 39-36, 39-36 in favor of the winner Greg Hardy.

Harlem Eubank beat Tom Farrell by unanimous decision in their 10 round contest on Friday the 25th at York Hall in Bethnal Green. The scorecards were announced as 99-91, 99-92, 99-91 in favor of winner Harlem Eubank. The undercard featured the clash of Liam Williams and Nizar Trimech. Williams beat Trimech by technical knockout in the 2nd round.

Arsen Goulamirian beat Alexey Egorov by unanimous decision in their 12 round contest on Saturday the 19th at La Palestre in Le Cannet. The scorecards were announced as 116-112, 117-111, 116-112 in favor of winner Arsen Goulamirian. The undercard featured the super welterweight clash of Milan Prat vs Abass Baraou with Prat winning by 2nd round KO.

Jaime Munguia beat Gonzalo Gaston Coria by knockout in the 3rd round at Arena Astros in Guadalajara.

Liam Davies beat Ionut Baluta by unanimous decision in their 12 round contest at Telford International Centre in Telford. The scorecards were announced as 116-112, 117-111, 118-110 in favor of winner Liam Davies. The undercard featured the light heavyweight clash of Anthony Yarde vs Stafani Koykov with Yarde getting the stoppage in the 3rd round.
