Andre Berto “When I go in there, I don’t know what quit is!”

A fired up Andre Berto is focused on revenge for Saturday’s bout between himself and Victor Ortiz. Berto, who spoke to Luis Sandoval of FightHype.com, explained his focus for this fight.

“When I go in there, I don’t know what quit means…it doesn’t matter if I tear my shoulder, two eyes closed, I just go to [the end] and continue scraping.”

Berto, who worked out at the Wild Card Boxing Gym for a media work in preparation of his FOX headlining bout this Saturday at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA.

“The first go-around, [I was] young and didn’t take [Ortiz] serious. I was upset I didn’t get Floyd [Mayweather] fight and I took it for granted. [Boxing] is the type of game if you don’t respect it, it won’t respect you.”

Berto seeks redemption on primetime television on Saturday, April 30th, with a slot on FOX with the telecast starting at 5:00PM PST.
