Despite having to go on the road and a healthy amount of blood towards the end of the fight, welterweight Jonathan Chicas (15-2,  7KOs) was able to claim victory over a tough hometown favorite in Virgil Green (11-5 4KOs) in Tacoma, Washington. The judges saw the bout 97-93, 96-94 and 96-94 all for Jonathan Chicas.

This was Chicas’ first ten-round fight.
