Frankie Gomez Hopes To Take Next Step In Career
Frankie Gomez’s career to this point has been start and stop. The young fighter who has been marred by personal issues, but believes are behind him now. “I’ve been training two to three times a day. I go to Wild Card Gym in the morning, strength train in the afternoon and sometimes do another workout in the night time. I’m ready,” declared unbeaten super lightweight contender Gomez.
Gomez will due battle with tricky veteran Homberto Soto on the televised undercard on HBO World Championship Boxing which will be headlined Canelo Alvarez vs. James Kirkland.
“It’s going to be a good fight against Soto,” said Gomez. “He has a lot of experience, but I think I have the youth and I’m stronger.”
Gomez who touts that he sparred both Ruslan Provodnikov and Jose Ramirez for this training camp except to provide a fight that fans will not want to miss
