MMA’s Rousey wins ESPY, blasts Mayweather
UFC featherweight champion Ronda Rousey (11-0 2KOs 9Subs) received the Best Fighter of the Year in ESPN’s fairly pointless summer award show, The ESPYs on Wednesday night, beating out Floyd Mayweather, Terrance Crawford, Donald Cerrone and Gennady Golovkin. Many outlets have ran with Rousey’s comments after winning the award when the outspoken featherweight champion took the moment to share her feelings upon Mayweather.
“I can’t help but really say that I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” said Rousey when presented with the award. “I’d like to see you pretend not to know who I am now!”
