Andre Ward says he is ready right now for Gennady Golovkin

Andre Ward recently hit the ESPN studios to do what those in the business call “the car wash” in which he went through all of the media avenues on the ESPN campus interjecting opinions he has on current sports topics. Just like what happens whenever Ward does media, Gennady Golovkin, a dominant middleweight who fights one weight class below Ward’s weight class was brought after Ward watched a quick clip of Golovkin talking about Ward in week prior on the same show.

“It’s funny to me, when you look at the fight with G-G-G, the media not including you, (Ward motions to Max Kellerman) keep pushing the time frame back.” Ward said. “Hey, like I said earlier, Andre Ward, and yes I went third person….is ready right now. I think if everyone comes to the table and no one is trying to dictate through the media, that’s rule number one, that’s not gonna [sic] work. If you really want to fight less talking in the media, let’s get the network involved, HBO…and we can make it happen.”

This comes days prior to Golovkin coming on SportsNation and explaining that he would fight Ward, but it would have to be “50/50” split in terms of money.
